Anita graduated with her Bachelor of Optometry degree from The University of Melbourne in 1999. Upon graduation, she commenced working in private practice in Ballarat and Maryborough in country Victoria, along with sessions at the Victorian College of Optometry (now Australian College of Optometry). She worked in regional Victoria for two and a half years before returning to Melbourne, working in Preston where she practiced for a further five years.
Anita commenced working at Sanctuary Lakes Eyecare in 2004 and at Point Cook Eyecare in 2010. Having previously worked in different modes of practice, including corporate optometry, Anita appreciates the high emphasis on patient care, and individualised solutions that are so important to independent optometry practice. She completed her Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics in 2011, not long before the birth of her third child.
Anita can communicate in Cantonese.
